Ronna Manansala
Ronna Manansala is a multi-disciplinary Filipino visual artist and the granddaughter of National Artist Vicente Manansala, known for carving out her own identity through a style that focuses on the "raw and pure character" of her subjects. A former ballet dancer, she frequently integrates the dynamism of movement into her work, with ballerinas serving as one of her signature themes alongside depictions of the feminine form and the bond between mother and child. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Sculpture from the University of Santo Tomas and is a founding member of the United Women Artists Association of the Philippines. Her work has been exhibited extensively in the Philippines and internationally, including in London, Germany, and Switzerland, and she has recently collaborated on contemporary projects like the "Collective Enlightenment" series with artist Aaron Virata Mempin
