Community Building

We work closely with organisations, initiatives, and grassroots groups across a wide range of advocacies. By understanding their needs, we mobilise our creative community to design and deliver initiatives that support real causes channelled through the Katha Community Impact Fund.

Together, we turn creative practice into collective action and sustained impact.

Our Commitment

Supporting Creative Livelihoods

We support artists and creatives in building sustainable livelihoods by strengthening their practice, creating access to income, and spearheading collaborative projects within our community. Through shared work, partnerships, and co-creation, we cultivate a social value exchange where creative skills, knowledge, and opportunities circulate, benefiting both individuals and the collective.

Activating Creativity for Social Purpose

We initiate and support projects that merge creative expression with social purpose. Five percent (5%) of net proceeds from products and programmes are channelled into the Katha Community Impact Fund, which supports community-led initiatives and advocacy-driven work.

TESTIMONIALS

Hear from our partners

Tina Arcilla, Director- Inclusion, Asia Manulife

“When we brought together inclusion champions from across our Asia markets for our first ERG Summit, we wanted every detail of the programme to reflect the creativity and innovation we hoped to inspire. After learning about Katha Pilipinas’ ethical sourcing practices and deep commitment to their artists, we entrusted them with full creative direction, and they exceeded expectations through thoughtfully curated pieces, refined presentation, and meaningful storytelling. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with international participants gaining a deeper appreciation of Philippine culture and Filipino participants expressing pride in seeing contemporary Filipino artistry and craftsmanship represented so beautifully.”

Mr. Philip Francisco Dy, President, Metrobank Foundation, Inc.

“Metrobank Foundation's continuing partnership with Katha Pilipinas under the Metrobank Art and Design Excellence (MADE) program has deepened the impact of our shared advocacy to support Filipino creatives. What we have built together starting in 2024 through public training programs like Pagsibol and Leading Beyond Limits, as well as Katha’s participation in the special forum we convene for our new batch of awardees last year, reflect a shared commitment to empower Filipino creatives with practical learning, purpose-led leadership, and community impact. We look forward to an even stronger partnership, bound by our common mission for Filipino art to grow and thrive.”

Maria Eloisa C. Quiambao, Educator and Founder of Navitas Life and Learning, Inc.

“Creativity is not just getting lost in one’s ideas or passion. That used to be the notion. And so we congratulate Katha Pilipinas for recapturing it such that being a creative is now not just one with their expression of artistry but also one armed with mission and intentionality and empowered with a sense of sustainability and growth. May our community of artists continue to grow indeed and may they even be enablers for budding creatives.”
